As I was reading through the AACC fast facts I read about the difference between the tuition for a community college and a 4 year college. There is a big financial difference between the two. The average tuition for a community college is around $3,660, and the average for a 4 year college is about $10,230. I think it is so crazy that two places that offer some of the same courses is that big of a price difference. In my opinion if its the same thing then people should choose the cheaper option, but some people like the whole college experience. I understand that bigger colleges have more expenses to pay, I just feel like there’s no use to spend all that money just on tuition when it can be lower at a community college.

For me the most frustrating part of writing is coming up with the right thing to say. When I’m writing I always find it hard to come up with ideas to write and to know what order to put them in. I really need to work on my creativity in writing and the process of writing a good paper or writing in general. I am scared that one day I’ll get stuck when I’m writing and I won’t be able to write a good paper. Now don’t get me wrong I can write a good paper when I am in the writing zone. It all just depends on what kind of writing zone I’m in. I plan to work on my writing as I write more throughout my college career.

There are a lot of good songs that are coming out this year. My new favorite song is “Señorita” by Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello. This is my favorite song because I love Shawn Mendes and his music. Shawn Mendes’ voice is so beautiful and I could listen to it all the time. “Señorita” is a mixture of a slow pace and a fast pace song together. Although Camilla Cabello is in this song I really don’t like her, but her voice is pretty good. This song makes me feel lonely and single, because its about being in a relationship.

I have many social media pet peeves, but the biggest one is over editing. It is so unnecessary people over edit their pictures with face tune or certain filters. When people use too many filters it takes away from the picture and the meaning of why the picture was posted. Some people over edit their so much that you can’t even tell what the picture looks like. Another type of editing people use is something called face tune. This is an app or software on a phone that people use to make their skin look smoother or their faces look skinnier. What annoys me the most is when you see the person in real life and they don’t look like what the social media pictures looks like.

This blog is about my English class. On my blog it will have multiple different topics that I write on. This is the very first blog post and just talks about what it is going to be about. Not every blog topic will be the same, because each post will be different. This is my first blog page I have ever made. Each post will be about events or news that’s going on in the Phenix City/Columbus area. As I post these blogs most people should be able to relate to them. Blogging is a fun way to express how you feel for people to see.
